E-Edition Specification
Our process is simple and effective; we only ask that you provide any work to us in the following format.
We only accept PDF files, and our system works with most PDF settings. But if you want to ensure a quick and safe process, follow this checklist:
- Create one PDF file with pages sorted descending
- All pages must have the same dimensions
- Single-pages - One page in the PDF must be equivalent to one printed page
- The PDF should be without cutting marks
- The PDF should be without bleeds and crop marks
- The visual part of the pages should be the same as for the trim box
- The resolution should be 100-150 dpi
- All fonts must be fully embedded in the PDF (Embedded subset fonts are not sufficient)
- The PDF must have a defined language and not be password protected.
Your Logo
- Your logo should be no larger than 150x30 pixels.
- Must be a JPEG image.
- Take care choosing the background colour to ensure that it matches your chosen panel background colour so that it seamlessly integrates with the page.
- Background Image
- The background image will be repeated, tiled, if the viewer's browser window is larger than your image.
To design for this, either ensure that your image is okay to be tiled, or create a large image (recommended: 2000x1600 pixels) that will not repeat for the vast majority of viewers. The image must also be a JPEG file.
Video
If you wish to include video to your piece, all videos must be provided in one of the following formats: swf, avi, mpg, mov, wmv, mpeg, flv, mp3, ogg, wav & wma.
